¿Es el ingeniero industrial el profesional idóneo para ayudar a los ayuntamientos a evolucionar sus instalaciones y redes de alumbrados hacia la sostenibilidad?

 INTRODUCCIÓN

 Reflexiones de un ingeniero industrial municipal responsable de la gestión de una red de alumbrado, sobre el contexto actual y futuro a medio plazo, esbozando la arquitectura y aspectos clave de las instalaciones de alumbrado, así como la problemática y oportunidades que aparecerán en el difícil reto de lograr mejores ciudades a través de la luz.

 En los próximos años, los ayuntamientos disponen de una magnífica oportunidad para reformar sus instalaciones de alumbrado público aprovechando las subvenciones IDAE para realizar obras de modernización y mejora sostenible de sus alumbrados. Se trata de una oportunidad única, que requiere la redacción de gran cantidad de proyectos de iluminación pública. El conocimiento avanzado resulta un factor clave para abordar esta tarea, que deberá realizarse bajo criterios de sostenibilidad, introduciendo nuevos vectores de trabajo, entre ellos, el de la Contaminación Lumínica.

  • Desde 2006 hasta la fecha, responsable de la renovación de más de 12.000 puntos de luz en la ciudad.
  • Proyectista, director de obra y responsable de contratos de mantenimiento y explotación de red de alumbrado.
  • Director de proyectos externos.
  • Responsable de los contratos de suministro de energía en el Ayuntamiento de A Coruña.
  • Coautor conceptual de la filosofía e iniciativa Slowlight.
